There is no Pakistani singer in the singers list announced by BCCI. The neglect to the Pakistani artists surfaced at times when India BCCI reportedly ‘delayed’ in issuance of visas to Pakistani journalists to cover the mega cricket event.
PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf has arrived in India to watch the Pakistan India match.
Notably, the tournament commenced without an opening ceremony, but now, after eight days, BCCI has organized a ceremony ahead of the high-voltage clash.
Additionally, the report mentions that following the singing pre-match show, there will be a 10-minute program during the innings break of the India-Pakistan encounter.
This historic occasion marks the first time the world's largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium, will host the high-octane India-Pakistan clash.
Both India and Pakistan are currently level on points, each with two wins in the tournament.
