Balochistan Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel vowed on Tuesday that the provincial government would extend all possible cooperation to investors and traders in the region.
According to details, he made these remarks during his address at a ceremony hosted by the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
"Business community and the trading fraternity have raised their voice for Balochistan on economic grounds, and we are truly grateful for their support," Mandokhel said, highlighting the vital role that the private sector has played in advocating for the province's economic interests.
The governor also pointed out that, unfortunately, politicians had not raised their voices on economic issues in Balochistan in an effective manner.
Despite this, Mandokhel assured the audience that the provincial government was committed to offering unwavering support to those willing to invest and do business in the region.
He said that Balochistan aimed to leverage its potential in sectors such as the Blue Economy, agriculture, and special economic zones to maximise investment opportunities. The governor stressed the importance of collective effort in unlocking these opportunities for the province's growth.
Additionally, Mandokhel had earlier announced plans to construct a double road connecting Quetta, Zhob, Dera Ismail Khan, and Quetta-Karachi, further enhancing infrastructure connectivity.
