Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Barrister Aqeel Malik said on Saturday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan wants to involve the army in the politics by penning a letter.
Expressing his thoughts in Taxila, Malik took a jibe at the PTI founder, saying, “Seems as if the PTI founder’s next letter will be written for United States President Donald Trump.”
“For how long will the dual standard be continued? Putting aside the letters, there is a need to think about the well-being of the masses,” said Malik.
He maintained: “The Pak Army frequently mentioned that it has nothing to do with the politics."

Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme, "Mere Sawal With Absar Alam," adviser to the prime minister on legal affairs acknowledged the challenges faced by the government and asserted that each day brought a new test.
He emphasised that the government's primary focus remained on public welfare. Malik said, "The government undoubtedly faced difficulties, and every day posed a fresh challenge."
