Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Senator Irfan Siddiqui said on Saturday that the government had made all-out efforts to hold the talks with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme, "Mere Sawal With Absar Alam," Siddiqui said: "We planned to meet the PTI leadership on a positive note, but the talks were ended."
"The PTI has not come into existence for holding the negotiations. Going for the negotiations is not included in its [PTI's] DNA," said Siddiqui.
"D-Chowk, final call and May 9 vandalism suit the PTI," added the PML-N stalwart.
"Even today, we have opened the doors for holding the talks, but the PTI is not willing to hold the negotiations," said Siddiqui.
"The army chief has categorically talked about the letter. Sending the letter to the premier means that the politicians should address their problems by themselves," said Siddiqui.
"The PTI is the first political party, which kept on staging propaganda and making narratives," added Siddiqui.
