NEOM has announced Hidden Marina as the first phase of its groundbreaking urban development, THE LINE, marking a bold step in redefining city living. The announcement was made by Denis Hickey, Chief Development Officer of NEOM, at the PIF Private Sector Forum in Riyadh.
Hidden Marina, spanning 2.5 kilometers in length and soaring 500 meters high, will be built in modular 800-meter sections and will feature three interconnected modules. The futuristic vertical city is expected to house over 200,000 residents, with a built-up area exceeding 21 million square meters, significantly surpassing global benchmarks such as the Burj Khalifa (350,000 square meters).
The development will include 80,000 plus residential units, 9,000 hotel rooms, commercial and retail spaces, fire stations, schools, and security services, massive workforce and investment, over 140,000 workers are currently engaged in constructing NEOM, including 5,000 dedicated personnel working directly on the project.
The workforce represents over 100 countries, with 40% local Saudi talent contributing to the project.
NEOM has already invested $140 billion in infrastructure development, ensuring essential services such as energy, water, transport, and data connectivity are in place to support the emerging metropolis.
NEOM's investment framework includes NEOM Investment Fund (focused on strategic sectoral investments) and NEOM Investment Office (facilitating real estate partnerships).

- NEOM Green Hydrogen Company is constructing the world’s largest green hydrogen plant in partnership with ACWA Power at Oxagon to revolutionize clean energy.
- A joint venture with DSV, a leading logistics company, to build an advanced logistics network.
- A partnership with Samsung to automate rebar production, enhancing construction safety and efficiency.
- A $5 billion AI-powered green energy data storage facility at Oxagon, in collaboration with Data Vault.
