Students from Khyber District participated in an educational tour organized by Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North, visiting key historical and cultural sites in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
During their visit to the Army Museum in Rawalpindi, the 45 participating students received detailed briefings about Pakistan Army's history, military campaigns, and the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans.
The Islamabad leg of the tour included visits to several prominent locations including Lok Virsa Heritage Museum, Pakistan Monument, Centaurus Mall, and Faisal Mosque. Students received comprehensive information about the historical significance of these sites.
The itinerary combined cultural education with modern landmarks, offering students exposure to both Pakistan's heritage and contemporary developments in the federal capital.
Participating students expressed appreciation for the educational opportunity, noting that the tour provided valuable insights into Pakistan's major cities and historical landmarks. They advocated for the continuation of such educational programs for tribal area students.
The initiative represents ongoing efforts to provide educational and cultural exposure to students from tribal districts, facilitating their connection with national heritage sites and urban centers.
