Petroleum Minister Mussadik Malik said on Thursday that the specific political group was targetting the country through its policies.
Expressing his thoughts, Malik took a jibe at the political opponents, saying, "All the country has forced to face hardships due to one person."
He extolled the government's efforts in controlling the inflation, saying, "The inflation rate has dropped to three per cent from 40 per cent due to the efforts of the government."

Petroleum Minister Mussadiq Malik said on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia will invest in the Reko Diq project and the mining sector.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Malik said: "Talks are underway with all the countries regarding the Reko Diq project and the mining sector."
"Saudi Arabia is the most relevant of all these countries," he added.
Malik announced another international conference in the mining sector. He expressed optimism that 2025 will be the year of major announcements.
"We are transforming the entire infrastructure of the mining sector. Major companies and developed countries will be invited in this regard," he said.
"The mining and entire downstream industry will be showcased. Wherever mining exists, bringing development to that particular area is our [government's] prime target," he added.
