Former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser said on Thursday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was looking to take the stakeholders on board for holding the polls.
Speaking to media in Islamabad, Qaiser said: ““We are forming one alliance, which will be meant to form the charter of democracy.
Qaiser urged the parliament to take everybody on board in line with the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
Moreover, National Assembly Opposition Leader Omar Ayub said: “We have not been allowed to meet PTI founder Imran Khan despite the court’s order. The superintendent jail had written in the court that the meeting with the PTI founder will be allowed according to the jail manual.”
“The law and order situation in the country is not good, which is the result of the Afghan and foreign policies,” said Ayub.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Junaid Akbar said: “Those who have brought the government into the power are trying to give the message that one of the institutions is not acknowledging the decisions of the parliament and court.”
“The situation in KP is also worsening like Balochistan. The Pakhthuns, living in Balochistan were subjected to the violence,” said Akbar.
“Every single of the PTI workers is facing up to 8 bogus cases each,” said Akbar.
“We are not against of any of the institutions. But everybody needs to review on its attitude,” he said.
“Pakistan will be considered as weak with the weaker institutions,” he said.
Akbar said, “This time around, the institutions will not have the support of the people, as the vacuum between the institutions and people has been increased.”
“What is happening in the country is not suitable for the masses and institutions,” he said.
