Federal minister Abdul Aleem Khan has decided to step down from two out of his three ministerial portfolios, sources confirmed.
He currently holds the ministries of Privatization, Investment, and Communications but will now focus on a single ministry.
According to sources, the decision was made after consultations, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was taken into confidence regarding the move.
Following this decision, Abdul Aleem Khan will relinquish the Ministries of Privatization and Investment, while retaining his role in the Communications Ministry.
The minister’s move is reportedly aimed at ensuring better governance and efficiency in his assigned responsibilities.
