A delegation of prominent business leaders met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister's House, expressing confidence in the government's business-friendly policies and acknowledging its efforts to create a conducive environment for investment and economic growth.
Welcoming the delegation, PM Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that a sincere and honest business community is a valuable asset to the country. He lauded their commitment to investing in Pakistan even during challenging times, contributing to industrial and economic development.
"Thanks to your efforts, the country's economy has been moving forward, and people have found employment," the PM stated, assuring continued consultation with the business community to drive further economic reforms and growth.
"The country's economy is moving in the right direction," PM Shehbaz stated, highlighting the decline in interest and inflation rates and reaffirming the government's commitment to facilitating business activities and investment.
He stressed that local investors play a key role in initiating the country's investment journey, adding that the aim of the consultation was to accelerate the development of the country's economy. He also underscored the importance of trade officers posted abroad, who have been given clear targets to boost trade and exports.

The business leaders commended the government for:
- Establishing the National Seed Development Authority to ensure high-quality agricultural seeds.
- Implementing the Green Pakistan Initiative for environmental sustainability.
- Supporting the IT industry, which is rapidly gaining global recognition.

The delegation also put forward suggestions for improving various sectors. In response, PM Shehbaz directed all relevant ministries to hold regular consultations with business representatives and stakeholders to address industry-specific challenges.
