Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on Wednesday that the government will strategise the future course of action tomorrow (Thursday).
In a video statement, Tarar said: “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Balochistan tomorrow. PM Shehbaz has held a telephonic conversation with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti in this regard.”
“The security forces, the Pakistan Army and other institutions are active to end the menace of terrorism,” said Tarar.
Speaking about the PTI, Tarar said: “The PTI was making a narrative against the national interest.”
“The PTI, the banned BLA and the Indian media have played a role in the matter of the train attack,” said Tarar.
He said: “The PTI has politicised the matter.”
Praising the security institutions, Tarar said: “The Pakistan Army has used modern technology to conduct the successful operation.”
Earlier today, expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme "Nadeem Malik Live", Tarar said the PTI was having the same narrative as the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Indian media had in line with the Jaffar Express attack.
Tarar said: “Integrated planning may be developed considering the situation in Balochistan. The information received so far shows that the terrorists have contacts abroad.”
“The operation is underway with caution. I would not like to say anything before time,” stated Tarar.
He said: “The hostages have been freed with great skill. 30 terrorists have been killed, who were involved in the attack.”
“The soldiers are tackling the terrorists valiantly. The sensitive operation is underway to ensure the hostages remain protected. Things are moving forward through the National Action Plan (NAP),” said Tarar.
The minister hoped that the operation would be completed soon.
He said, “It seems as if the Indian media had information about the attack before. The anchors living abroad and political parties have tweeted what Indian media did.”
“There is 100 per cent clarity that the PTI has staged its politics on the matter,” said Tarar.
Speaking about the NAP, Tarar said, “All the ministers have attended the NAP meetings.”
He discussed PTI founder Imran Khan, claiming, “The PTI founder’s popularity has continued to diminish.”
