The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) parliamentary committee resolved on Wednesday to play an effective role in parliament.
According to reports, the PTI's parliamentary committee meeting was held. On this occasion, a discussion was held about not attending the national security moot.
Some of the party leaders opined that the parliamentary party had made a decision to attend the national security meeting in a constructive manner.
"Things would have been addressed if we attended the meeting. The meeting of the political leadership with Imran Khan should be given priority," the PTI leaders said.
Sources divulged that the PTI's parliamentary committee agreed to speed up efforts to release Imran Khan.

Earlier, few days back, PTI leader Ali Muhammad Khan said on that the party needs to ensure its presence during the parliamentary leaders' meeting.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV programme, "Do Tok With Kiran Naz", Khan said: "PTI founder Imran Khan's participation in the APC meeting is must."
"The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and local stakeholders should be taken on board in line with the operation," Khan added.
He said, "The PTI founder should be given an invitation to the APC meeting to give a strong message to the enemies."
