WhatsApp is stepping up its customisation game.
The messaging app just rolled out a major update that makes creating, managing, and sharing sticker packs easier and more fun, all without leaving the app.
Previously, users could create custom stickers, but managing and sending them, especially if you had a lot, was a hassle. Now, with the new sticker pack feature, WhatsApp lets users group their stickers into separate folders or packs, making them easier to access and organise.
“Whether it’s a pack of stickers of your dog, or hilarious selfies of your closest friends, now you can make your chats more fun and personal,” said a WhatsApp spokesperson.
With a single tap, you can share entire sticker packs with friends and family instead of sending them one by one.
This feature builds on sticker pack sharing, which WhatsApp teased earlier this year. Now, it’s officially rolling out to all users in the latest version of the app.
Besides sticker enhancements, the update also brings:
- A new online status indicator in group chats
- A document scanning feature
- An option to set WhatsApp as the default messaging and calling app on iPhone
Make sure to update to the latest version to explore all these new features.
