In a compassionate move, Coldplay is reaching out to fans who faced disappointment at missing their Perth concert in Western Australia due to flight cancellations.
In a statement posted on X, the band expressed regret on Monday and revealed that affected fans would be gifted free seats for their upcoming Australian tour in 2024.
Coldplay specifically urged fans who held tickets for the respective shows and had booked flight VA721 on Wednesday evening or VA474 on Thursday evening to take advantage of this offer.
The band conveyed their apologies, stating, "We were really sorry to hear about the fans who didn't make it to this weekend's Perth shows due to two cancelled flights from Adelaide and Brisbane."
For those eligible, Coldplay requested them to email fo@livenation.com.au before 5pm on November 28 to receive details on securing their complimentary tickets.
