In a groundbreaking move, Atlas Honda one of Pakistan's foremost motorcycle manufacturers, has introduced its inaugural electric vehicle (EV) motorcycle, the Honda 'BENLY e.'
While the company did not specify the release date for the electric bike in the local market, the unveiling occurred at a prestigious ceremony held at Atlas Honda’s Sheikhupura Factory, marking the company's 60th year of operations in Pakistan.
Noriaki Abe, Chief Officer of Motorcycle and Power Products at Atlas Honda, announced that the Honda BENLY e would undergo test marketing, with subsequent product releases tailored to market feedback.
Emphasising the pivotal role of Honda products in the daily lives of many Pakistanis, Abe expressed confidence in the joint venture's commitment to delivering the best to society and customers.
The collaboration between Atlas Group and Honda Motor Company has been a driving force in motorcycle and auto parts manufacturing since 1963.
