Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Haji Ghulam Ali exchanged views on the country’s political situation on Saturday.
The former president held a meeting with the KP governor in Peshawar.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were PPP KP chapter president Mohammad Ali Shah and Peshawar Mayor Zubair Ali.
– Zardari expected to reach Turbat on Dec 18 –
Zardari is expected to reach Turbat district of Balochistan on December 18 (Monday).
The former president will address the workers' convention in Turbat.

Separately, the PPP top brass said today that the party was geared up to contest the general elections with verve.
Addressing the press conference in Karachi, PPP senior leader Sherry Rehman said, “The PPP’s electoral campaign is underway. The election schedule had been announced yesterday (Friday).”

“Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had appreciated the Supreme Court’s (SC) verdict. The PPP has always demanded timely elections. The party’s core committee has also welcomed the decision delivered by the apex court,” Sherry stated.
She said, “Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has presided over the hybrid meeting. The party leadership has monitored the country’s political situation.”
