The Garrison Cadet College, Kohat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is an excellent residential school for students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as all over Pakistan.
The foundation of this college was laid on March 1, 1990, and it was built on a vast land of 85 acres, wherein 600 students simultaneously receive higher education.
The college also pays special attention to the training of students and provides modern studies.
Maintaining the traditions of the previous years, the Garrison Cadet College Kohat organised the 28th annual Parents' Day event in which the enthusiasm of the cadets was visible.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Ghulam Ali Khan was the chief guest at the event, and he also witnessed the parade.
The cadets also put on a spectacular display of gymnastics and athletics, including a grand display of marching parade. The chief guest also awarded medals, shields, and swords of honour to the cadets who excelled in academic and extracurricular activities.
A large number of military and civil officials, along with the parents of the cadets, also participated in the ceremony.
