Caretaker Minister Murtaza Solangi on Wednesday warned of the climate disasters.
Addressing the convention in Lahore, Solangi underscored the importance of an enlightened society, saying, “The country can only lead towards prosperity by seeking knowledge.”
“All the religions stressed the importance of embracing humanity, and education is the best tool to promote harmony,” Solangi stated.
He admitted that the country is facing many severe challenges.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar underscored the safety and equal rights of all minorities in Pakistan, affirming their constitutional guarantees.
His remarks came during his attendance at a Christmas event in Islamabad, where he also participated in cake-cutting festivities.
Addressing the gathering, Kakar emphasized the sanctity of protecting religious places across diverse faiths, citing the Holy Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) esteem for a Christian delegation from Najran. He highlighted Quaid-e-Azam’s pivotal August 11 address, reiterating the founder's commitment to safeguarding minority rights and ensuring their freedom of worship.
Expounding on the inclusive ethos, Kakar reiterated the obligation to honor all Prophets from Adam to Muhammad, emphasizing Quaid-e-Azam’s prescient vision in establishing an independent Muslim state amid the rising Hindutva ideology.
