The battle for Lahore’s PP-149 constituency is intensifying as Abdul Aleem Khan, president and candidate for the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), ramps up his campaign with the inauguration of several corner meetings and election offices across the district.
From the lively streets of Garhi Shahu to the bustling markets of Achintgarh, Khan’s supporters gathered to celebrate the opening of these campaign outposts. Vibrant banners, lively bhangra beats, and enthusiastic chants of "Abdul Aleem Khan!" filled the air, reflecting the growing momentum behind his candidacy.
Residents from Garhi Shahu, Achintgarh, Baja Line, and Singhpura actively participated in the events. Party offices in UC-119 were inaugurated by Zahid Shah and Sarfraz Gadoki.
The campaign saw the corner meetings featuring prominent figures such as Azeem Cheena, Rana Tanveer, Chaudhry Sher Ali, and Rana Abdul Rahim.
Shoaib Siddiqui, addressing the gathering, expressed confidence in Abdul Aleem Khan’s potential to lead and succeed in the upcoming elections on February 8. He highlighted Abdul Aleem Khan's two-decade-long dedication and service to the constituency, emphasizing the significant impact of his vision.
He further praised the IPP president for his inclusive approach, stating that, in the election context, Abdul Aleem Khan offered his services without discrimination.
The festive atmosphere was palpable at each location, with supporters sporting IPP's distinctive green scarves and cheering on their candidate. This enthusiasm suggests a close fight in the upcoming February 8 elections. Khan's campaign, built on promises of service, progress, and inclusivity, seems to be resonating with the diverse communities within the constituency.
