In a compassionate display of familial concern, King Charles has reached out to Princess Kate as he prepares to undergo treatment for a benign prostate condition.
The 75-year-old monarch is reportedly deeply worried about the well-being of his daughter-in-law, who is currently recuperating at The London Clinic after undergoing major abdominal surgery earlier this week.
Royal author Robert Hardman revealed to Newsweek that King Charles, a fervent admirer of Princess Kate, is likely in communication with the future Queen since her medical procedure. "He’s a huge fan of hers.
He thinks she’s a great asset. He’ll be more worried than anyone other than Prince William about her," stated Hardman.
Despite the benign nature of the King's prostate condition, Buckingham Palace announced that he is scheduled to undergo a "corrective procedure" next week, necessitating a brief period of recuperation during which public engagements will be postponed.
Hardman emphasised the monarch's genuine concern for Princess Kate, stating, "She’s fit, she’s young and she’s out of action for three months. That’s a cause for concern, not alarm, but he’ll definitely be taking the view ‘for God’s sake don’t make her feel she’s got to come back to duties any sooner than she feels she needs to.”
As the royal family faces health challenges on multiple fronts, the focus remains on the recovery of Princess Kate and the forthcoming medical treatment for King Charles. The monarch's gesture underscores the close-knit nature of the royal family and the genuine care they have for each other during times of health-related adversity.
