In India, systemic oppression against Muslims has been worsened, particularly under the extremist Modi government, which, despite its global promotion of secularism, has failed to safeguard minority rights.
Proponents of Hindutva ideology recently attacked Muslim shopkeepers in Shanti Nagar, Mumbai, with over 300 radicals launching assaults on pedestrians in Myra Road, shouting slogans and engaging in violence.
BJP activists wielded batons against Muslims, causing damage to vehicles and properties. The police failed to intervene effectively, allowing the violence to escalate.

Despite evidence, no #FIR was filed, and criminals were protected.

During a fervent mob attack, over 50 Muslims were injured, and properties worth lakhs were damaged. Shockingly, the Indian police not only failed to file FIRs against the assailants but also provided protection to the criminals.
In Ayodhya, the construction of a Hindu temple on the site of the Babri Masjid has emboldened RSS and BJP activists, leading to an increase in atrocities against minorities.
The Modi government, apparently championing political agendas under the guise of religion, is directly implicated in promoting open hostility and terrorism against Muslims.
