Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of the late Benazir Bhutto, delivered a poignant speech during her visit to Maripur, echoing the legacy of her mother and the Bhutto family.
Embracing her lineage, she reminded the crowd of her connection to Benazir Bhutto, emphasizing her commitment to continue her mother's mission.
“Benazir Bhutto was the voice of the poor farmers, the students,” she declared, reflecting on her mother's enduring advocacy for the marginalized. Despite Benazir’s voice being silenced, Aseefa pledged to be the voice of the people, alongside her brother Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
With fervent determination, the Bhutto scion vowed to tackle poverty and empower slum dwellers, promising to grant them ownership rights. Her aspirations extend to seeing Bilawal as Prime Minister, a vision shared by many in Kemari, where the people rallied behind the Bhutto legacy.
During her visit, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari received a warm welcome from supporters, including Qadir Patel, a PPP candidate from NA-243. As the rally commenced, workers showered flowers, symbolizing their endorsement of her message and their unwavering support for the Bhutto dynasty.
With heartfelt gestures, Aseefa engaged with the crowd, responding to slogans with waves and gestures of solidarity. Her presence in Maripur and Kemari underscored the enduring connection between the Bhutto family and the people, evoking a sense of unity and shared purpose as the nation approaches the pivotal elections on February 8th.
