In a tense moment unfolded during an election campaign in Lahore, a young man attempted to attack Hamza Shehbaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), with a shoe.
The incident unfolded during a speech at Lahore’s Tarnum Chowk, Taxali, where Hamza Shehbaz was addressing a public gathering.
In an audacious move, a young man tried to target Hamza Shehbaz with his shoe but was intercepted by vigilant PML-N workers.

The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and the young man is currently under police interrogation. Some reports speculate the act was politically motivated, while others suggest it might be an isolated incident.
Undeterred by the incident, Hamza Shehbaz continued with his speech during the election rally. He highlighted the development projects in Lahore, emphasizing the significance of the metro bus and orange line services. Additionally, he underscored the healthcare achievements, noting that kidneys are treated at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI).
