Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ahsan Iqbal said on Sunday that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will form the next government.
Addressing the party workers in Zafarwal, the former planning minister said, ‘’With your [masses] vote, good representatives will be elected, which will pave the way for the country’s uplift.’’
Iqbal said, ‘’Zafarwal remained behind Narowal. We brought revolution in Narowal through education, which changed the people's fate.’’
‘’Even the opponents agree that the Nawaz Sharif-led PML-N will form the next government,’’ he said.
He asserted: ‘’If you [masses] vote for the independent candidates, this will mean that you are voting for Asif Ali Zardari. Asif Ali Zardari is purchasing the independent candidates.’’
Recalling the events that transpired on May 9, Iqbal said: ‘’One party that had embraced anarchy attacked the Jinnah House and military installations.’’
– Economic crunch –
Few days back, Iqbal blamed the PTI for the economic crunch.
Addressing the party workers from NA-76 in Narowal, the former planning minister said, ‘’The PTI is a party that has spread anarchy in the country.’’
He took a jibe at the PTI founder, saying, ‘’The PTI founder had run the country like an inept.’’
