Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed confidence and optimism during an election rally in Lahore, emphasizing the party’s commitment to Pakistan’s progress under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
The PML-N president addressed a crowd at a Lahore election rally, outlining his party’s vision for the future and making key promises focused on youth and education, He reiterated his belief in the potential of the nation's youth, declaring them as Pakistan's greatest asset.
Sharif declared, “There’s no manipulation, just a seal on the lion! The sun will rise on February 8th with PML-N’s victory, and we will make Pakistan great under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership.”
He emphasized youth empowerment, stating, "The young generation is Pakistan's capital. We will fight for them by reviving the laptop program and offering scholarships."
Responding to Bhutto Zardari's debate challenge, Sharif countered, "Who should I debate with? Schools lack desks and pens! Let those who challenge debates look at their own province's schools. Then, we can compete and compare."
He celebrated a recent report claiming reduced corruption under his PDM government, contrasting it with a report alleging increased corruption during PTI's rule.
The former PM pledged to reinstate programs aimed at empowering the youth, including the revival of the laptop distribution initiative and the provision of scholarships. Responding to challenges for debate, he highlighted the need for tangible improvements in education infrastructure before engaging in such discussions.
Assuring supporters of a fair electoral process, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the symbol of the lion, the PML-N's emblem, indicating their readiness for the upcoming elections on February 8. He promised to enhance public facilities, including the establishment of e-libraries and tea stalls in Lahore's parks, envisioning a brighter future for Pakistan under Nawaz Sharif's leadership.
