Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz expressed optimism on Saturday that her party will make a clean sweep of Gujranwala in the upcoming elections.
Addressing the public gathering in Gujranwala, Maryam took an indirect jibe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, "The viral outbreak ends."
She hoped that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif would become the country's premier for the fourth time.
The PML-N stalwart acknowledged that the people of Gujranwala had always stood with her party. "We will clinch all 20 seats from Gujranwala in the forthcoming elections on Feb 8," Maryam said.

Few days back, Maryam fired a fresh broadside at the PTI founder.
Addressing the public gathering in Swat, Maryam said: "The person who used to deem opponents as thieves now himself proved to be the biggest thief."
"How can vandalism be the future of the children of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)? Your [PTI founder] children are living in London," she maintained.
