Pakistan Rangers have once again showcased their dedication to combating trafficking across the nation. Throughout the year 2024, they have remained vigilant, actively disrupting smuggling attempts along the Pakistani borders.
Recent data reveals a significant interception by the Punjab Rangers, seizing 41.382kg of heroin valued at Rs50.79 millions. Legal measures have been promptly taken against the perpetrators.
Working in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, the Punjab Rangers have successfully foiled efforts to transport contraband from Afghanistan and Iran into the Punjab province.
Their operations have resulted in the recovery of various illicit items such as food products, household appliances, clothing, tires, auto parts, diesel, and drugs, with a cumulative worth exceeding Rs255.51 million. These seized goods have been handed over to the authorities for further action.
