The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has achieved yet another feat. Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) successfully completed testing and drilling its third well in the Ghazi area.
The drilling operations commenced on February 15, 2024, and the well reached a depth of 1,483 meters. Upon completion of regulatory procedures, the well will become operational, contributing to Pakistan's energy landscape.
Under the auspices of the SIFC, initiatives to explore and extract oil and gas resources in Pakistan's coastal and marine regions are gaining momentum. MPCL's recent endeavors not only promise to enhance the country's energy sector but also signal renewed confidence among investors.
These projects are anticipated to expand revenue streams while instilling trust among potential investors, thus fostering sustainable growth for Pakistan's energy industry.
