The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday unveiled the 15-member national squad for the upcoming women's cricket tour to Bangladesh.
Nida Dar will continue to lead the Pakistan women’s team. The tournament is scheduled to take place later this month.
Pakistan will depart for Bangladesh on October 20 to feature in a six-match white-ball series which also includes three ODIs, part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25.
Iram Javed, right-handed batter, returns to the national team after a one-year absence. Her last appearance for Pakistan was during the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022. Earlier this year, Iram also participated in three women's exhibition T20 matches for Super Women against Amazons in Rawalpindi.
Shawaal Zulfiqar and Syeda Aroob Shah were omitted from the squad that competed against South Africa in the white-ball series in Karachi last month.
Meanwhile, Fatima Sana, who sustained an injury during the second ODI against South Africa, is still in the process of recuperation.
Both Shawaal and Aroob are currently part of the 28 players listed as potentials for the Pakistan women's emerging team, currently participating in a training camp in Muridke.
