In a landmark development, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have inked multi-billion-dollar Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) during Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar's visit to the Gulf nation.
The agreements span various sectors, marking a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between the two countries.
PM Kakar who arrived in the UAE on Sunday for a bilateral visit until Nov. 28, is focused on signing multiple investment and cooperation agreements.
The visit is part of a strategic effort to enhance economic collaboration and solidify ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
'New era of economic cooperation'
Caretaker Minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Solangi, conveyed a special message from Prime Minister Kakar through social media, stating that the MoUs signify a new era of economic cooperation, regional stability, and strategic collaboration.
The agreements are expected to have far-reaching impacts on political, economic, trade, investment, cultural, defense, and people-to-people relations.

Agreements encompass various key sectors
The MoUs cover a wide range of sectors, reflecting the depth and diversity of the collaboration.
Areas of agreement include investment cooperation in Energy, Port Operations Projects, Waste Water Treatment, Food Security, Logistics, Mining, Aviation, and Banking & Financial Services.
Highlighting the enduring bond between Pakistan and the UAE, it was emphasized that the two nations enjoy warm and long-standing fraternal ties that have withstood multiple tests of time.
Prime Minister Kakar commended the friendship initiated by Sheikh Zayed in the 1970s, asserting that it has now entered a new phase under the leadership of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
