The Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) has reached out to the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) seeking support for the upcoming Senate elections.
Prince Ahmad Umar Ahmedzai, the recently elected Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from BAP, along with Senate nominee Kahida Babar, held meetings with Sardar Sarfaraz Domki of PPP and former Balochistan chief minister Mir Abdul Quddus. The focus of the discussions was the upcoming Senate by-elections.
During the meetings, Prince Ahmad highlighted that BAP has two vacant seats in the Senate, and they seek support from the PPP to secure success in both.
The BAP delegation also met with Jafar Mandukhel, the provincial president of PML-N, requesting support for their candidates in the Senate elections.
In another development, Mir Abdul Qudus Bizenjo, a former Chief Minister of Balochistan, received the Senate party ticket. The ticket was granted by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti and PPP central leader Ijaz Jakharani.
Present at the occasion were prominent political figures, including Member of the National Assembly Malik Shah Gurgej, Provincial President of People's Party Chingiz Jamali, Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola, and various Members of the Provincial Assembly.
