On Defense Day, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan (North) honored martyrs across various regions of Balochistan by presenting salutes at their graves and offering special prayers. The event highlighted the sacrifices made by Baloch and Pashtun soldiers, as well as civilians, including women and children who fell victim to terrorism.
Family members of martyrs shared their experiences:
- The father of Lieutenant Safiullah Badini, martyred in 2009 while fighting terrorists in Swat, praised the brave response of the army and public against terrorism.
- Relatives of victims from the Pishin bomb blast remembered their loved ones' smiles and good deeds.
- The brother of a martyred police constable, Muhammad Naseem, expressed pride in his sibling's sacrifice while serving in the police force.
These tributes underscore the ongoing impact of sacrifices made for peace and security in the region. The commemoration serves as a reminder of the collective effort against terrorism and the cost of maintaining peace in Balochistan and Pakistan at large.
