The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday reacted to the Election Commission of Pakistan's (ECP) decision over the intra-party elections.
According to details, the PTI took a dig at the ECP, accusing the electoral watchdog of "malign intent." The PTI had denounced the recent police crackdown in Rahim Yar Khan’s NA-171 constituency, calling it an instance of "police brutality" ahead of the by-election.
Meanwhile, the committee had called on the ECP to address "illegal raids and arrests" by the Punjab police and to ensure transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
The party emphasised the need for the ECP to eliminate obstacles to the election process and guarantee a transparent election.
The core committee hoped that the public gathering will be held at any cost and all the party organisations and wings will ensure to make the "gathering successful."

Meanwhile, the PTI had geared up for the Islamabad power show on September 8 (Sunday).
According to details, the party was looking to ensure the completeness of the public gathering, slated to happen in Sangjani. PTI leader Aamir Mughal had visited the venue of the public gathering.
He expressed his thoughts in line with the party's forthcoming gathering, saying, "The containers and other relevant things needed to stage the public gathering have been reached to the venue."
"The new history is going to be marked on September 8. The party workers should pour onto the streets for the release of the PTI founder," Mughal said.
He said: "The motorcycles should be preferred in case of the closure of the route to the public gathering's venue."
The PTI leader vowed to make special arrangements for the women and families during the upcoming party's power show.
