The number of registered users with the Pakistan citizen’s portal has crossed 4.167 million. In the last five years, the portal received 5.44589 million complaints, while those registered by overseas Pakistanis were 263,169 and 16,932 by foreigners.
Out of these, 2.748186 million were registered against federal ministries and institutions. The portal received 1.719137 million complaints against the Punjab government. The complaints received against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were 547,000, and 317,296 against the Sindh government.
The complaint redressal rate on the citizen portal was 98.67%, according to a report. It added that the highest number of 810,000 complaints were filed by students.
Traders registered 656,411 complaints on the portal, while 482,000 complaints were filed by civil service officers and employees, according to the report.
Engineers filed 505,000, teachers 684,000, social workers registered 314,000, and women filed 371,264 complaints.
Most of the complaints were registered against the SNGPL, MEPCO and BISP, the report stated.
It further said that most complaints also came against the Pakistani embassy in Saudi Arabia.
